MOU WITH MANONMANIAM SUNDARANAR UNIVERSITY

Chennai based Education & Placement Company EdServ has announced that it has signed a three-year MoU with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU) to offer Diploma / PG Diploma courses in e-learning framework along with contact classes enabled by EdServ’s EdClass (Virtual Class Network) product.

As part of the relationship, EdServ will offer, to the students of MSU’s Distance and Continuing education, eLearning courses in office automation, object-oriented programming, Softskills, and also the first-year curriculum essentials of MCA of the University as a PG Diploma course. The MSU senate shall approve the curriculum and content of the courses to be offered by EdServ and the University will issue certificates to the successful students directly.

A minimum of 1,000 students in each course totalling to an estimated 15,000 students are targeted to be trained by EdServ in the next 12 months by this University partnership.

On the signing of the MoU with EdServ, Dr. R. T. Sabapathy Mohan, Vice Chancellor, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University said, “It is our endeavour to offer value added education to our students to prepare them for their career. The MoU with EdServ is the first step in that direction to offer courses that relate to industry and job orientation. We chose to partner with EdServ as they are an established and a credible player in the education space. This, we believe, is just the beginning of a long term partnership with them.”
